The culture of Fayetteville has been steeped in military tradition for years, and was named by Time magazine as America's Most Pro-Military Town in 2009. The city's military background is exemplified in the Airborne & Special Operations Museum, which outlines the history of the Airborne and Army Special Forces up to the present through displays and interactive simulators.
